About the Epson TM-C7500

The Epson ColorWorks C7500 comes in two versions - TM-C7500 and TM-C7500G. The TM-C7500G color label printer prints on gloss label media, while the TM-C7500 printers on mattle label rolls.

Epson's TM-C7500G includes a specially modified Epson pigment ink, which is designed to print on glossy surfaces such as high gloss paper, glossy polypropylene or shiny transparent labels. This makes the print more muted in color than dye-based inks. Color labels printed on the Epson TM-C7500G won’t be as vivid as those printed on a dye-based inkjet.

Epson's TM-C7500 utilizes matte label rolls and pigment-based ink to create smudge-free tags that won't crack or fade. They dry immediately, allowing for prompt application. The ColorWorks C7500 has the normal Epson pigment-based ink designed for printing GHS BS5609 compliant labels. Epson TM-C7500 is a matte label printer that accepts matte label media only. Its inks will not work with glossy media.
